(Not-So) Spring Cleaning
So…I didn’t go to yoga. Instead, I foraged the depths of the cavernous abyss that is my closet and organized the shizz out of that bitch. 4 hours later…clean closet, organized dresser drawers, exhausted Meesh.
My personal training this morning was vigorous, however. It was truly, truly rough. My trainer has kicked my ass before, but this morning he outdid himself. It’s the first time I was kind of nauseated and really exhausted once we were done. For anyone who’s wondering, he makes me do supersets (and sometimes, dropsets.) Supersets are basically repetitions of exercises back to back, 3 or 4 times in a row, with no break. Once all the sets are finished, you’re allowed a 90-second break. Dropsets entail working a certain muscle group with weights, then dropping the weights after each repetition, but doing said exercise 3 or 4 times in a row. One would be surprised that it’s actually the lighter weight that makes your muscles burn, because the repetition is making your muscles burnout…not the physical weight.
Anyhoo…enough meathead talk. ORD to PHX tomorrow. Hallelujah for vacation.
